    How many guests can the venue accommodate?

    A

    We can accommodate up to 500 guests.
  2. Q

    Is there adequate parking?

    A

    We have enough parking for up to 200 cars at the entrance of the venue. We shuttle guests via golf carts from the parking area to the wedding site.

    Is your facility smoking or non-smoking?

    A

    Smoking is not permitted anywhere on venue grounds.

    Is the site handicap accessible?

    A

    Yes, our facilities our handicap accessible.

    Is there a place for the wedding party to get ready?

    A

    We have a beautifully decorated bridal suite complete with sitting area, salon area, and bathroom. Our groom’s cottage consists of a large sitting area w/ big screen tv, fully functional kitchen, and bathroom. Click the VENUE tab to see photos of both areas.

    Who is responsible for setup and clean up?

    A

    Windgate Farms’ staff will take care of all setup and clean-up of all items reserved through them.

    What are the hours allowed for ceremony and reception?

    A

    4 Hours is the allowed time for a wedding and reception.
  8. Q

    What are hours allowed for set up, clean up, and access to facilities?

    A

    Hours allowed for clients are two hours for rehearsal and setup on Friday, Saturday from 10 AM until two hours after end of reception, and up to two hours on Sunday.

    Are outside florists allowed? Can I use my own décor?

    A

    Windgate Farms requires our florists to be used exclusively, but we will be glad to incorporate any additional décor you would like used.

    What extra services are available?

    A

    Windgate can take care of all décor, florals, catering, additional chairs and tables, linens, sound packages, lighting packages, photography, videography, ceremony musicians, tents, and other rentals (dance floors, limos, horse and carriage).

    Are outside caterers allowed?

    A

    Windgate Farms has a preferred caterers list, but we do allow outside caterers for a small fee.

    What are the kitchen facilities?

    A

    Windgate has a prep kitchen with prep tables, large sink, and refrigerator.

    Are rehearsal dinners offered?

    A

    We do not currently offer rehearsal dinners.

    What is the alcohol policy?

    A

    Alcohol is allowed, but is not supplied or served by Windgate Farms. A security guard (which will be booked by Windgate) is required if alcohol is to be served. In addition, if alcohol other than beer or wine is served, a licensed bartender is required

    What is the rain plan?

    A

    We have a covered pavilion that can accommodate up to 300 for a ceremony and 250 for a reception. We also have a tent rental company we work with if additional covering is needed. There is no additional charge for pavilion.

    Are there hotels in the area and are there any special rates for booking?

    A

    Yes, we have several hotels within 15 minutes of the venue that offer packages to Windgate guests.
